The Intersection of Identity and AI Design

Identity work and advanced
AI systems.
You as the source code,
built from the inside out.

Built from the inside out. Demonstrated live.

I speak at the intersection of identity, organisational design, and autonomous AI systems. The thread that runs through all of it is the same one that runs through everything I build: the direction of build determines the quality of everything that follows. Whether you are building a life, a business, or an AI operating system, starting from the outside in produces a ceiling you cannot break through. Starting from the inside out removes it. I bring a live case study to every engagement. Not a framework on a slide. A multi-agent AI operating system I have built and am actively running across three businesses simultaneously, designed from the founder's identity and vision before any technology was selected.
It is the only live demonstration of its kind.

The Founder as Source Code Why AI Systems Built from the Outside In Always Drift.

CURRENT KEYNOTE

40 minutes. Covers the five failure modes that destroy most multi-agent AI systems, why the direction of build determines the quality ceiling, and what measurable differences the inside-out build produces in output fidelity and operational continuity. Suitable for technology, leadership, and founder-facing conference programmes.

The Founder As Source Code

CURRENT WORKSHOP

The Founder as Source Code: Building AI Systems That Hold Your Standard Without You in the Room.

3 hours. Three phases: live case study and failure mode diagnostics, structured diagnostic exercise where attendees map their own AI implementations in real time, and the inside-out build framework applied to their first three decisions. Attendees leave with a completed diagnostic of their current system and a practical framework for rebuilding it correctly.

Suitable for leadership teams, founder cohorts, and organisations actively deploying or scaling AI systems.

VALUE FOR THE AUDIENCE

Every attendee leaves with something they can use on Monday morning. Not inspiration. Not a framework to explore when they have time. A completed diagnostic of their current AI system, a named set of failure modes they can now see in their own implementation, and a clear understanding of what needs to change and in what order.

Michelle does not speak from research. She speaks from a live system. The multi-agent AI operating system she demonstrates is running in real time across three businesses. The failure modes she names are the ones she has built around.

The outcomes she references are measurable and current. For the organiser, that means a speaker who can hold a room of practitioners, not just inspire them. For the audience, it means leaving with the specific language and diagnostic tools to go back into their organisations and make a different decision about how their AI systems are built.

The gap between AI capability and human standard is the most urgent operational problem most organisations are not naming correctly. Michelle names it, demonstrates the solution, and hands the audience the tools to begin closing it.

IDEAL AUDIENCE

Technology and AI conference audiences actively building or scaling multi-agent systems.Leadership teams and founder cohorts navigating AI implementation at an organisational level.
Events at the intersection of identity, decision-making, and autonomous systems.

Corporate programmes where the gap between AI capability and human standard is a live operational problem.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

Why the direction of build, inside-out versus outside-in, determines the quality ceiling of everything an AI system produces, and why this cannot be corrected by adding better tools.

A diagnostic framework for identifying the five failure modes destroying most multi-agent AI systems, with specific questions that surface where and why quality degrades without constant human intervention.

The architectural difference between a system that resets to zero at the end of every interaction and one that compounds over time, and how that distinction is made at the point of build, not through maintenance.

What it means to encode the founder or leader into the system rather than bolt them on afterward, demonstrated through a live multi-agent implementation with measurable outcomes across three businesses.

The first three decisions of an inside-out build, and why getting them right changes everything the system produces from that point forward.
